A project that explores the past and uses those ideas to inform the design of a water culture centre in a modern world with systems that allow the building to be sustainable.The main idea of De Moderne Baden (The Modern Baths) focuses on the interior experience of the users and centres around the baths (right building) where every other service including the exhibition and café (left building) are secondary to it. Inspired by the Roman baths, it is a building that tries to recreate the experience of the past.
